Job summary

AMETEK is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design, maintain, and optimize aerospace manufacturing and assembly processes. The role emphasizes hands‑on troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and continuous improvement in a dynamic production environment.

Responsibilities include creating assembly drawings and BOMs, supporting testing, and transferring new products from engineering to production while improving yield and cost efficiency. ITAR restrictions apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering or equivalent.
• 2 years of aerospace manufacturing engineering experience (or equivalent).
• Solidworks CAD experience is highly desirable.
• Hands-on with electromechanical and fluid equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and optimize manufacturing processes with input from suppliers and technicians.
• Create and maintain assembly work instructions, drawings, BOMs, and test procedures.
• Support transfer of new products from engineering to production and troubleshoot issues on the floor.
• Lead root cause analyses and corrective actions; document findings and implementations.
• Develop standards and equipment to support testing and manufacturing; explore AI-enabled productivity gains.
