Job summary

Montana Precision Products, a leader in aerospace-grade components, seeks an experienced engineer to drive New Product Introductions and continuous process improvement. You will interface with customers and suppliers and manage multiple projects from concept through production launch.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, designing manufacturing processes, and leading cost-reduction efforts while upholding quality and delivery milestones in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent technical training with relevant experience.
• Proficiency in reading engineering drawings, schematics, CAD models, and manufacturing specifications.
• Strong project leadership skills with ability to manage multiple NPI programs and workflows.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Develop and introduce new products into manufacturing processes with limited supervision.
• Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with customers and vendors on technical and program matters.
• Set up processes for new products and drive cost reductions and quality improvements.
• Prepare First Article Inspection reports and document progress on manufacturing projects.
