Job summary

Daher LLC in Sandpoint, Idaho, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer (Mid-Level) to turn aircraft design intent into repeatable, efficient production methods. You will collaborate with Design Engineering, Production, Quality, Tooling, and ERP to improve build sequences and manufacturing documentation.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years in manufacturing engineering, strong CAD skills, GD&T knowledge, and ERP experience with Epicor or SAP.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
5–7 years of manufacturing engineering experience, preferably in aerospace or complex assembly.
Strong CAD proficiency and ability to read engineering drawings with GD&T.

Responsibilities

Work side-by-side with mechanics to solve real build problems and improve processes.
Support and improve build sequences, work content, and line flow in assigned areas.
Use CAD models and drawings to understand design intent and simplify production.
Author manufacturing prints or models that are traceable to design and fit, form, function.
Build and present design-change cases to Design Engineering with senior/lead input.
Support labor-hour reduction, rework reduction, tooling definition, ERP alignment, and supplier manufacturing issues.
