This hands‑on role spans machining, welding, fabrication, and assembly to ensure build‑to‑print parts meet stringent quality requirements.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in manufacturing engineering, a Bachelor’s in Engineering (or an Associate’s with equivalent experience), and a Lean/Kaizen mindset to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in aerospace or defense.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred, or an Associate’s in Engineering Technology with equivalent experience.
• Hands‑on experience with machining, welding, and metal fabrication processes.
• Strong skills in process development, BOMs, and work instructions.
• A Lean and Kaizen mindset with a record of driving continuous improvement.

Responsabilités

• Develop processes and work instructions for build-to-print parts.
• Lead new product introduction (NPI) activities and support production ramp‑up.
• Support the development of machined components and complex assemblies.
• Create and maintain BOMs, facility layouts, and assembly line layouts.
• Drive Lean and Kaizen initiatives to improve efficiency and quality.
• Work with cross‑functional teams to solve production issues and improve flow.
• Be a hands‑on resource across fabrication, welding, and machining.
