Job summary

Qarbon Aerospace, Inc. in Red Oak, Texas is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer 2 to support on-site manufacturing of composite components and assemblies for aerospace programs.

You will collaborate with senior engineers and production teams to develop manufacturing plans, define processes, tooling, and inspection criteria to ensure on-time delivery and quality. You will lead continuous improvement activities using Lean and Six Sigma methods, perform root cause analysis, and work with

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in a relevant field and 3–5 years of related experience.
• Two years of aerospace composites fabrication experience required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
• Active clearance preferred; eligible to obtain and maintain one if none is currently held.

Responsibilities

• Develop manufacturing plans from engineering requirements, defining operation sequences and tooling.
• Create quality inspection plans for production guidance and ensure timely delivery.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean/Six Sigma techniques and PFMEA/8D methods.
• Provide day-to-day technical support to production operators and supervisors.
• Analyze bond processes to identify defect sources and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain strong internal/external customer relationships and communicate effectively.
