Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical and electromechanical assemblies and related manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, specifications and other technical documentation.
• Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment and collaborating with production teams to improve processes.
• Ability to use production data to support problem solving and quality investigations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and improve manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts.
• Provide producibility feedback to design engineering throughout development and production.
• Create and maintain product flow diagrams, work instructions, and operating instructions.
• Evaluate nonconforming hardware and contribute to quality investigations and process improvements.
• Collaborate with production teams to implement improvements and increase efficiency.
• Partner with Production Control to prioritize work and support delivery schedules.
• Analyze production performance data and support QA with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Support development and production of advanced defense systems.
