Job summary

Lockheed Martin Corporation is seeking an experienced professional to develop and implement manufacturing processes, layouts, and procedures for assemblies and equipment installations. The role focuses on adopting automation, robotics, and CAD/PLM tools to improve efficiency, cost, and quality in aerospace manufacturing.

You will analyze 3D model data, read engineering drawings, and contribute to design concepts to optimize production.

Qualifications

• Experience with aerospace or missile manufacturing processes, including GD&T, work-instruction development, and production line balancing.
• Proficiency in CAD and PLM/ERP systems (Windchill/EPDM, SAP).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and BOMs, and develop/validate procedures, tooling and fixtures.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement manufacturing processes, procedures and layouts for assemblies and production lines.
• Drive adoption of new technologies and processes to improve efficiency, cost and quality.
• Leverage data and analytics to optimize manufacturing and support design input for manufacturability.
