Job summary

Lockheed Martin Corporation in King of Prussia, PA, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to translate engineering designs into reliable, repeatable manufacturing processes for complex assemblies. You will collaborate with design, production, quality, and operations to improve processes, quality, efficiency, and delivery.

This on-site role supports the manufacturing of advanced defense systems with a 9/80 schedule and periodic weekend or off-hours work as production requires.

Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical or electromechanical assemblies and related manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment and collaborating with production teams to improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and improve manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts.
• Provide producibility feedback to design engineering throughout development and production.
• Create and maintain product flow diagrams, work instructions, and operating instructions.
• Evaluate nonconforming hardware and contribute to quality investigations and process improvements.
• Collaborate with production teams to implement improvements and increase efficiency.
• Partner with Production Control to prioritize work and support delivery schedules.
• Analyze production performance data and support quality assurance with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Support development and production of advanced defense systems.
