Job summary

Airbus US Manufacturing Facility in Mobile, AL is seeking a Supervisor I, Operations to lead the A320 station. You will direct and coordinate all production activities, manage station tools and calibration, and ensure safety and quality in a 2nd shift environment.

The role requires 3–5 years in aviation manufacturing with leadership experience; candidate must be authorized to work in the US and capable of guiding a 15–25 person team. This is a critical production leadership position at Airbus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Aviation (Manufacturing Engineering, Assembly Processes, Production methods, etc.).
• 2 or more years of Leadership experience in Aviation is highly preferred.
• Authorized to Work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the management of all employees assigned to the Station.
• Includes the selection, performance management, identification of development needs, and employee recognition.
• Provide direction and oversight to production activities and monitor the progress of the aircraft through the Station.
• Routinely report and update upper level management on aircraft progress and alert colleagues to potential problems and solutions.
• Coordinate and communicate Station activities throughout the Final Assembly Line, the management team, other and relevant parties.
• Responsible for the development of manpower forecast requirements based on workload and necessary skill sets required to meet the delivery schedule.
