Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment, preferably investment casting.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge and systematic problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Implements changes to manufacturing processes, fixtures/tools, and reduces rework for efficient production.
• Assesses production changes and sustains continuous improvement across the department.
• Cooperates with all levels of the organization and external customers.
• Establishes and maintains SPC control charts for key variables.
• Investigates handling scrap using root cause analysis.
• Prepares and maintains work procedures for manufacturing operations.
• Identifies and implements new process technologies to extend capabilities.
• Works with other departments to meet company objectives.
• Maintains a positive, professional work atmosphere and adheres to safety policies.
