Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) in the United States seeks a Product Engineer with extensive casting experience to own and optimize aerospace casting processes from design through production. You’ll influence gating, tooling, heat treatment, and metallurgical requirements, delivering high-quality components that fly.

The role emphasizes data-driven improvement, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and direct involvement in advanced aerospace casting technologies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of casting manufacturing experience.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering required; materials science/metallurgical/mechanical preferred.
• Experience with gating, molds, heat treatment, metallurgical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review pattern designs to meet dimensional requirements.
• Develop and optimize casting process parameters including gating and heat treatment.
• Analyze data to improve yields and reduce variation.
• Apply DOE and Six Sigma to drive process improvements.
• Collaborate with Quality, Tooling, Production, and customers on specifications.
• Audit production lots to ensure repeatability and compliance.
