Job summary

Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) in Cudahy, CA, is seeking a Product Engineer with 3+ years of casting manufacturing experience to advance aerospace components from design through production. You’ll analyze processes, apply DOE and Six Sigma, and collaborate across engineering, quality, tooling, and customers to improve yields, precision, and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
• 3+ years casting manufacturing experience.
• Experience with gating, molds, heat treatment, or metallurgical requirements.
• CAD experience; SolidWorks preferred.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and dimensional requirements.
• Analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve pattern designs for dimensional accuracy.
• Develop and optimize casting process parameters including gating and heat treatment.
• Analyze data to identify opportunities to improve yields and efficiency.
• Apply DOE and Six Sigma for root-cause analysis and improvements.
• Collaborate with QA, tooling, production, and customers on specifications.
