Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking a Maintenance Specialist to join our manufacturing team. You will maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve production equipment and facility systems to support safe, efficient, and reliable operations.

This hands-on role minimizes downtime and keeps equipment running at peak performance. You will troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and HVAC systems, read schematics and prints, and perform preventative maintenance while supporting Lean initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience performing industrial maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, sketches, and technical drawings.
• Working knowledge of plumbing systems, HVAC systems, electrical power and controls, gas furnaces and heat-treat equipment, vacuum systems, dust collection systems, carpentry and painting.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and facility systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery, pumps, furnaces, vacuum systems, and related equipment.
• Complete equipment overhauls, repairs, inspections, and daily maintenance checks.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and HVAC system issues.
• Maintain and repair plumbing, dust collection, and building systems.
• Support heat treat equipment operation, maintenance, and repairs.
• Perform welding and brazing repairs as needed.
• Read and work from sketches, schematics, and equipment prints.
• Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and other maintenance equipment as required.
• Support Lean and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Follow all quality, safety, environmental, and company standards.
