PPG Aerospace in Mojave, CA is seeking a Maintenance Engineer II on-site to advance mechanical engineering and ensure equipment reliability across complex projects. You will report to the Engineering & Maintenance Manager and collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to optimize performance.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 5+ years in a manufacturing setting, with expertise in maintenance software, data analysis, and predictive maintenance.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent technical discipline.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of engineering, maintenance, or project management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in maintenance management software, data analysis tools, and predictive maintenance technologies.
• Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsabilidades

• Provide engineering and technical support for the maintenance team.
• Partner with Maintenance, Engineering, and Production to improve equipment reliability, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Manage and continuously improve preventive maintenance programs, including PM schedules, procedures, work instructions, and maintenance strategies to minimize unplanned downtime.
• Develop and present data, recommendations, and improvement plans.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules and programs to minimize unplanned downtime and reduce maintenance costs.
• Monitor KPIs related to equipment reliability, uptime, and maintenance effectiveness.
• Ensure all projects meet engineering standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices for risk assessment, safety, and quality.
• Champion safety culture, housekeeping, and adherence to all plant procedures.
