Job summary

Search Masters, Inc. in South Gate, CA, seeks a proven Maintenance Department Leader to oversee aerospace forging and heat-treat operations. You will direct 8–10 leads and 40–50 hourly employees across three shifts, 24/7, to keep equipment operating at peak performance.

Responsibilities include optimizing preventive/predictive maintenance, planning CapEx projects for growth, and driving continuous improvement to boost efficiency and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the Maintenance Department and all associated facilities within an aerospace forging and heat treat operation
• Directly manage 8-10 leads and 40-50 non-union hourly employees across three shifts operating 24/7
• Direct and optimize Preventative and Predictive Maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and reliability
• Plan and execute Capital Expenditure (CapEx) projects to support operational growth and modernization
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance departmental efficiency and performance
• Drive the department's efforts to ensure all equipment is fully operational and running at peak performance
