Job summary

Applied Aerospace & Defense in Santa Ana, CA, is seeking a hands-on Maintenance & Facilities Manager to lead the maintenance and facilities function supporting aerospace manufacturing operations on the floor. You will troubleshoot, develop a team, improve equipment reliability, and partner with Operations and Engineering to keep production safe, efficient, and compliant with 6S and lean practices.

Qualifications

8-10 years of progressive experience in maintenance, facilities, industrial manufacturing, or related field.
Previous supervisory or management experience.
Strong knowledge of industrial equipment, machine maintenance, and facility systems.
Experience with preventive maintenance programs and data-driven improvements.

Responsibilities

Lead, develop, and support the Maintenance and Facilities team.
Oversee daily maintenance activities, priorities, staffing, and schedules.
Build and maintain preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
Partner with Operations, Engineering, Quality, EHS to minimize downtime.
Ensure safety, reliability, and operational status of equipment and facilities.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and determine repairs and actions.
Drive equipment reliability and reduce downtime; improve performance.
Maintain safety features and oversee facility systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
Manage internal maintenance and external contractors/suppliers.
