Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a Machinist for 1st shift (7 AM–3 PM) to operate production machines from blueprints and route sheets. Responsibilities include setting feeds and speeds, performing rework, and inspecting parts to specifications. Strong reading of blueprints and good hand–eye coordination are required.

The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and adherence to SPC standards while enabling professional growth within Parker’s aerospace manufacturing division.

Qualifications

• Must read and understand work instructions or blueprints.
• Must demonstrate manual dexterity and good hand–eye coordination.
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of machine shop mathematics.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate one or more production machines from blueprints, sketches, and route sheets.
• Perform repetitive machine operations and rework parts as needed.
• Set feeds, speeds and depth of cut to machine quality parts.
• Inspect parts with gauges and measuring instruments for conformance.
• Maintain SPC requirements and observe safety rules.
• Assist with setup and minor adjustments for improvement.
