Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a dedicated machinist for 1st shift (7:00am - 3:00pm EST) to operate CNC/NC machines and produce precision parts. You will load materials, set up tooling, read blueprints, and verify tolerances using gauges, ensuring adherence to part specs and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Basic computer skills required
• Basic math skills required
• Understanding of gauging / measuring devices required
• Blueprint understanding required (geometric tolerancing)
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask and organize work/priorities
• Ability to work effectively with others and be a team player

Responsibilities

• Program, setup and operate CNC/NC machines for turning, drilling, milling and other operations.
• Load/unload equipment, gather materials and set up work area.
• Use hand tools and measuring devices to complete tasks.
• Edit and modify NC programs; determine operation sequence and tool selection.
• Read blueprints and ensure parts meet print specifications.
• Complete production paperwork and maintain organized workspaces.
• Adhere to safety policies and lean principles; participate in training.
