Job summary

Qualifications

• 3 years machining experience
• Able to set up machines
• Reads blueprints and specifications
• Working knowledge of shop math (incl. trig)
• Able to apply lean initiatives
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Familiar with job-specific software and systems

Responsibilities

• Set up and run multiple production machines
• Align and fasten work using fixtures
• Install and adjust cutting tools
• Follow established manufacturing methods
• Adjust feeds, speeds, and depth of cut
• Operate hand/power tools to deburr and finish parts
• Inspect parts with gauges, calipers, and micrometers
