Job summary

LISI AEROSPACE NORTH AMERICA is seeking a skilled machinist to set up, operate, and troubleshoot machines in the secondary operations area. You will read blueprints and manufacturing drawings to ensure correct tooling, adjust settings, and support production cycles while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 7+ years in high-volume manufacturing, and strong SPC knowledge.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 7+ years in a high-volume manufacturing environment is expected.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, manufacturing outlines, or work instructions.
• Knowledge of SPC concepts and data collection is required.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot machines in the secondary operations area.
• Read manufacturing outlines and part drawings to ensure correct tooling and processing.
• Monitor tooling and fixtures to verify production cycle compliance.
• Support operators and coaches to achieve quality and productivity goals.
• Record data, maintain housekeeping, and follow safety regulations.
• Assist in training trainees and operators.
