Job summary

Pratt & Whitney North Berwick is seeking candidates for a Weekend Overnight shift (Fri–Sun, 6:00pm–6:30am) to train as a Certified Operator. You will attend a 3-week training and participate in 4–8 weeks of on-the-job training to set up NC milling/grinding machines and verify parts.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED and 1+ years in manufacturing. The role is safety-sensitive and requires English proficiency and FAA-related compliance in a U.S.-based facility.

Qualifications

• High School or GED is required.
• 1+ years of manufacturing, automotive or related trade experience.
• Ability to compute decimals and fractions.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate NC milling/grinding machines.
• Read operation sheets and travelers to set up equipment.
• Verify conformance of finished work with specifications using precision measuring tools.
• Obtain operator Certification to accept/reject parts.
• Perform TPM and basic maintenance on machines.
