Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Machine Operator in Asheville, NC to operate a variety of production machines in a fast-paced aerospace environment. The role requires reading work instructions, setting up equipment, and ensuring quality through TPM.

Candidates should have a HS diploma or GED, U.S. citizenship, and manufacturing experience or education. Training may occur on multiple shifts to support production needs.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• U.S. citizenship is required for access to program/contract information.
• Previous manufacturing experience or education or Advanced Manufacturing Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret work instructions.
• Set up and operate production equipment and measuring devices.
• Maintain machines via total preventative maintenance (TPM).
• Collaborate with engineers, quality assurance, and other production personnel to resolve machining problems.
