Pratt & Whitney Asheville is recruiting a Maintenance Manager for the Machining facility in Asheville, NC. You will manage salaried staff, maintenance technicians, and contractors to maintain and upgrade equipment in the shop.

The role emphasizes leadership, safety, and continuous improvement, with a focus on achieving high equipment uptime and coordinating with environmental health and safety teams.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 8+ years in facilities/manufacturing aerospace sectors.
• Advanced degree plus 5+ years in related field accepted.
• Must have experience leading a team in manufacturing or production.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate day-to-day activities with Maintenance Supervisors and Technicians.
• Lead a 5-shift model of Supervisors and Maintenance Technicians.
• Ensure timely maintenance training and development.
• Review and draft preventive maintenance procedures with the team.
• Manage contractor efforts from procurement to pre-job reports.

Educación

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years' experience in Facilities Maintenance, Machine Tool Service, Engineering, Manufacturing or general Aerospace Aftermarket industry experience

Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years’ experience
