Job summary

Impulse Space in Redondo Beach, CA, seeks a Learning & Development Manager to own our LMS, build training programs, and partner with technical and business leaders to scale L&D in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

You will establish systems and processes for development, training, and compliance across the company, with occasional travel. Primary duties are office-based at our Redondo Beach facility.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Learning & Development, Training, or related HR experience.
• Experience selecting, implementing, or administering an LMS.
• Experience building training programs or L&D capabilities from the ground up.
• Strong project management and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience with training compliance, reporting, and/or audit readiness.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft 365 and HRIS/LMS platforms.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalently recognized credential.

Responsibilities

• Own and optimize the company’s LMS, including course assignment, enrollment, completion tracking, and reporting.
• Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Mission Management, EHS, Security, Quality, Legal, and People teams to identify training needs and develop company-wide and role-specific programs.
• Develop and maintain onboarding, compliance, safety, technical, and professional-development training.
• Manage third-party training vendors, including selection, scheduling, delivery, and budget.
• Establish training policies, compliance tracking, reporting, and metrics while continuously improving programs as the company scales.
