Job summary

Safran is seeking a Project Engineer to independently lead and coordinate Aerospace & Defense engineering projects, including Flight Control and Utility Actuation systems. You will drive disciplined project execution through planning, risk management, data analysis, and cross-functional IPT collaboration.

Responsibilities include leading technical reviews, maintaining schedules and budgets, and presenting status and risks to leadership. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• A degree in engineering or a related technical discipline with a minimum 3.0 GPA, or two years of relevant project management experience.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate technical teams to ensure requirements and deliverables are achieved.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, resource plans, and performance metrics.
• Own cost performance and budget tracking using Earned Value Management (EVM) for military programs.
