Job summary

Airbus Aerosystems Kinston is seeking an Industrial Architect in Kinston, NC, to lead industrial performance, optimize existing plant operations, and guide ramp-up of manufacturing programs through system design and tooling decisions.

You will manage a team of specialists, set KPIs, and collaborate with cross-functional units to ensure cost, cycle time and workflow targets are met, while driving continuous improvement efforts across the site.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience in a Manufacturing environment.
• Strong background in Production Planning with SAP.
• Experience with metallic and composite manufacturing processes.
• Willing to travel up to 5% domestically and internationally.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead Industrial System Evolution to synchronize with production requirements.
• Analyse plant performance data to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Define KPI reports to demonstrate performance to leadership and site teams.
• Identify and deploy cutting-edge technologies to support ramp-up and operations.
• Lead and mentor Manufacturing Engineering teams across the site.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure best practices are shared.
