Job summary

RTX, including Collins Aerospace and Pratt & Whitney, offers a full-time co-op in aerospace manufacturing and logistics. The program runs January through August, with mentorship, hands-on site support, and exposure to KPI reporting and data-driven operational support.

You will work onsite at Melbourne, FL, perform cost-reduction analyses, and support shop floor management and process improvements while developing leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Industrial Engineering or related STEM major and enrolled through the internship/co-op session.
• Must have a minimum of 60 credit hours by the start of the co-op session.

Responsibilities

• Co-facilitate events, activities, and projects to deliver tailored value and impact KPIs.
• Identify drivers of cost and propose alternative solutions for cost reductions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and shop floor management strategies (visual management, cell design, material flow).
• Provide onsite support as an integral onsite team member.
