Job summary

RTX is seeking a motivated student for a full‑time co‑op in Melbourne, FL, to dive into aerospace manufacturing, logistics and industrial engineering challenges. You will learn real‑world processes and support site‑wide manufacturing and logistics operations.

You will develop skills in root cause analysis, KPI reporting and workflow optimization while engaging with different leadership levels to support material engagements and projects.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Industrial Engineering or a related STEM major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co‑op session.
• Must have a minimum of 60 credit hours by the start of the co‑op session.
• Familiarity with electronics and lean manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Co‑facilitate events, activities and projects to deliver tailored value and impact KPIs.
• Identify drivers of cost and propose cost-reduction solutions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives following RTX CORE methodology.
• Assist the implementation of shop floor management strategies and material flow.
• Provide onsite support and serve as a culture champion.
