Barnes Aerospace is seeking a dynamic HR Generalist to support our manufacturing operations. You will administer HR policies, manage FAA/DOT compliance, assist in recruitment and onboarding, oversee payroll data, and coordinate benefits enrollment.

Strong communication and confidentiality are essential across all levels of the organization. The role requires 3+ years HR experience, proficiency with UKG HRIS, and the ability to work off-shift as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Human Resources, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• 3 years' experience with HRIS system, UKG preferred.
• Team player with ability to exercise judgment & discretion; good relationships at all levels.
• Willingness to support off-shift employees.
• Self-directed, flexible, and able to prioritize.
• High integrity, confidentiality, and commitment.
• Strong MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer HR policies, procedures, standards, and regulations; act as liaison between employee and management.
• Manage FAA and DOT compliance protocols.
• Support talent acquisition, recruitment and onboarding processes.
• Conduct new employee orientations and explain company programs.
• Lead payroll process data tracking for hours, bonuses and deductions.
• Coordinate benefits open enrollment and ongoing benefits administration.
• Support wage/salary program administration including job descriptions and performance reviews.
• Perform HRIS and self-audits (UKG); manage daily workflows and employee profiles.
• Counsel, investigate and resolve employee concerns.
• Complete monthly/annual HR Metrics reports.
• Lead and support community relations and employee events.
• Partner with cross-functional/HR teams on projects.
