Job summary

Anduril Industries in California seeks a harness design engineer to own end-to-end electrical wiring and interconnect systems for rugged defense applications. You will design, plan, document, and release harnesses for production, collaborating across engineering teams and suppliers.

The ideal candidate has a BS in EE or related field with 3+ years of harness experience, NX Cabling, and Siemens Capital Harness proficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical/ mechanical engineering or equivalent.
3+ years of hands-on harness design for rugged environments (aerospace, military or industrial).
Proficiency with NX Cabling and Siemens Capital Harness tooling.
Ability to read wire/block diagrams and create 2D formboard drawings.
Familiarity with CAN, Ethernet, RS422/RS232, 1553 and MIL-STD requirements.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end electrical wiring and interconnect system design and integration.
Develop harness diagrams and release for production; prepare assembly instructions.
Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, software teams and suppliers.
Evaluate power, grounding, shielding, EMI/EMC, and SWaP considerations.
Support multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and attend design reviews.
