CS Group USA is seeking an Embedded Software Development Engineer to lead real-time embedded software efforts for safety-critical airborne systems. The role emphasizes requirements capture, design, and development aligned with DO-178 objectives, and provides mentorship across engineering teams.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, or Mathematics discipline.
- 7+ years of experience in real-time embedded systems.
- Strong understanding of RTES, RTOS, safety-critical software development, C/C++ or similar embedded languages, and Python.
Responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end software development activities for embedded aerospace and defense systems from concept to integration.
- Collaborate across systems, hardware, software, verification, and certification teams.
- Ensure DO-178 objectives are met and support certification audits and data packages.
- Define and defend technical decisions and lead design reviews.
- Capture high-level and low-level requirements accurately.
- Implement requirements into design and code effectively.
- Communicate status with stakeholders and mentor junior engineers.
