Job summary

Moog is hiring a Finisher II for an onsite role in Buffalo, NY, with 2nd and 3rd shift options. The successful candidate will work from operation sheets, blueprints, and bodies, planning the sequence of finishing work and using appropriate tooling to meet exact quality standards.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED (preferred), ability to follow English instructions, and at least 2 years of finishing experience in a machine shop.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to understand and apply verbal, written and computer work instructions in English.
• Able to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

Responsibilities

• Work from operation sheets, blueprints, sketches, and bodies to plan entire sequence of work performed.
• Select, sharpen, and/or make special tooling as required.
• Select lighting aids, inspection gauges, and visual magnification as required to meet quality specifications.
• Perform work on complex bodies having multi-internal hole intersections.
• Instruct and assist Finisher II employees on new jobs and methods.
