You will remove burrs, sharp edges, and surface imperfections from machined aerospace components to ensure parts meet engineering and quality specifications before moving to inspection or assembly. Finishing is a critical step in the manufacturing process, ensuring that precision aerospace components meet quality, safety, and performance requirements before moving to inspection and assembly. Finisher I employees remove burrs, sharp edges, and surface imperfections that could impact product reliability, proper assembly, or long-term performance. Their work serves as a vital quality checkpoint, helping to ensure that parts are safe, functional, and ready for use in demanding military applications.

This position is eligible for a $3,500 sign-on bonus. To qualify, candidates must submit their application between July 20, 2026, and September 11, 2026, and is subject to the terms of the bonus agreement.
Buffalo, NY $20.00–$22.00 Hourly
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
