Heven AeroTech in Sterling, Virginia is seeking an Accounting & Finance Intern to support the Finance team with accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and business analysis in a dynamic aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• This role requires legal work authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, expense reporting, and other day-to-day accounting activities.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes, including account reconciliations and journal entries.
• Assist with maintaining financial records, documentation, and supporting schedules.
• Compile, organize, and analyze financial data for reporting and business decision-making.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Assist with the preparation of financial reports, dashboards, and presentations.
