Job summary

Wipro Givon USA is seeking an experienced FAI Coordinator to oversee the First Article Inspection process, ensuring timely, complete documentation in line with AS9100 and customer requirements. You will collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, Planning, and Supply Chain to obtain results, verify records, and resolve gaps for on-time submissions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical training in quality, manufacturing, or engineering preferred.
• Two years of aerospace manufacturing, quality documentation, or related technical experience preferred.
• Experience preparing or coordinating FAI documentation preferred.
• AS9100 quality requirements and customer documentation standards familiarity preferred.
• Ability to read aerospace drawings, specifications, revisions, and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates FAI activities from initiation through completion and customer submission.
• Prepares and reviews FAI documentation, ballooned drawings, and supporting records.
• Reviews drawings, specs, revisions, and manufacturing records to identify required characteristics.
• Works with Quality Inspectors to obtain dimensional results and reports; does not independently approve results unless authorized.
• Collects and verifies material certifications, special process records, test results, and traceability documentation.
• Tracks FAI schedules, deadlines, and backlog; escalates risks to customer deliveries.
• Coordinates full or partial FAI documentation following engineering or process changes.
• Maintains FAI records in quality systems, ERP, and customer portals.
• Coordinates customer submissions and tracks corrections through closure.
• Identifies potential nonconformances and refers them to Quality for disposition.
• Supports internal and customer audits and continuous improvement of FAI workflows.
