Job summary

Verify, Inc. is seeking a Quality Engineer for First Article Inspections (FAI) in Irving, TX. You will review and approve AS9102-compliant FAIs, validate documentation, and ensure traceability from customer data to supplier evidence.

Strong collaboration with internal teams and suppliers is essential. The role requires deep aerospace manufacturing knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to drive quality across composites, electronics, machined parts, and sheet metal.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in aerospace/defense with 5+ years creating/reviewing FAIs.
• Hands-on manufacturing across composites, PCB assemblies, machined parts, sheet metal, structural assemblies, hydraulics/pneumatics, avionics, raw materials.
• Deep knowledge of AS9102, AS9100 and related aerospace standards.
• Ability to interpret complex drawings, data and specifications with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Review, approve, and audit FAIs per AS9102 standards.
• Validate drawings, certificates, and specifications for FAIs.
• Ensure end-to-end traceability between customer data and supplier evidence.
• Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to resolve FAI issues.
• Mentor teammates and support continuous improvement of FAI processes.
