Job summary

Skydio is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to lead the safe, reliable operation of its aerospace manufacturing facility in Hayward, CA. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• 7+ years in facilities/plant operations, preferably in regulated manufacturing.
• 3+ years leading facility operations, projects, or teams.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems.
• Experience supporting active manufacturing with downtime impact.
• Proven preventive maintenance and CMMS experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day facility operations and maintenance.
• Maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems.
• Develop preventive maintenance programs and KPIs.
• Coordinate equipment moves, utilities, and commissioning.
• Support production through facility modifications and expansions.
• Manage waste streams and vendor relationships.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and environmental requirements.
• Plan and execute facility upgrades and capital projects.
