Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent).
• 5–10+ years of inventory, warehouse, or supply chain experience in manufacturing, preferably aerospace or defense.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control practices, MRP/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Experience with aerospace quality standards (AS9100, ISO 9001) and traceability requirements.
• SOX compliance and internal control frameworks (COSO) preferred.
• Proven leadership experience managing teams in production/warehouse.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills; proficient in data analysis tools (Excel).
• APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP) or similar; lean manufacturing/Six Sigma.
• Familiarity with FAA, ITAR, or export compliance; FAA Part 107 encouraged for some roles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and optimize inventory management in a regulated aerospace environment.
• Develop, implement, and maintain AS9100-aligned inventory policies and systems.
• Manage raw materials, WIP, and finished goods; ensure accuracy and availability.
• Lead cycle counts, physical inventories, and reconciliations; investigate discrepancies.
• Collaborate with procurement, production, quality, and engineering for material traceability.
• Ensure lot traceability, serialization, and regulatory documentation compliance.
• Optimize warehouse layout, storage, and material handling for safety and efficiency.
• Analyze inventory metrics and drive continuous improvement; manage ERP/MRP real-time visibility.
• Mentor staff; support audits and cross-functional reporting; own process improvements.
• Partner with Finance/Operations for monthly/quarterly close activities.
