Job summary

Skydio is seeking an Inventory Control Manager to oversee and optimize all inventory activities in a regulated aerospace manufacturing environment. You will manage raw materials, WIP, and finished goods, lead cycle counts, resolve discrepancies, and ensure traceability and regulatory compliance across procurement, production, quality, and engineering functions.

You will implement policies aligned with AS9100/FAA standards, optimize material flow, and drive inventory metrics improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 5–10+ years inventory/warehouse/supply chain experience in manufacturing, aerospace preferred.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle) and traceability requirements.
• Familiarity with aerospace quality standards AS9100/ISO 9001 and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain inventory control policies and systems aligned with aerospace standards.
• Manage raw materials, WIP, and finished goods to ensure accuracy and availability.
• Lead cycle counting programs and physical inventories; reconcile discrepancies.
• Collaborate with procurement, production, quality, and engineering for material traceability.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, lot traceability, and documentation.
• Optimize warehouse layout and material handling for safety and efficiency.
• Analyze inventory metrics and drive continuous improvement (ERP/MRP).
• Mentor inventory control staff and support internal/external audits.
