Job summary

Skydio, a leading US drone company, seeks an experienced Facilities Manager to run the aerospace manufacturing facility safely and efficiently. You will own maintenance, building systems, utilities, and improvement projects to support production.

Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, EHS, and Security, lead preventive maintenance, ensure uptime, safety compliance, and rapid problem solving in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor's degree in a technical field related to facilities management or engineering.
• 7+ years in facilities, plant engineering, construction, or building operations.
• 3+ years leading facility operations, projects, and vendor management.
• Strong knowledge of industrial HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and building automation systems.
• Experience supporting active manufacturing operations with downtime impact.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day operation and maintenance of the manufacturing facility and infrastructure.
• Maintain critical building systems (HVAC, electrical, compressed air, plumbing, life-safety, lighting).
• Develop preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve reliability.
• Coordinate outages, troubleshooting, and permanent corrective actions.
• Establish facility KPIs for uptime, maintenance, and utilities.
• Manage waste streams and vendor relationships.
