Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Orlando seeks a Fabricator / Painter for the Machining Operations Center to deliver high‑quality coated components that meet aerospace specifications and customer requirements.

You will apply coatings, operate finishing equipment, and prepare parts, with shifts including 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 3x12 weekend as needed under the collective bargaining agreement. The role includes comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience applying finish coatings using spray guns or brushes and operating related equipment.
• Ability to work 1st, 2nd, 3rd shifts or 3x12 weekend shifts per collective bargaining agreement.

Responsibilities

• Apply protective coatings with spray guns or brushes, air‑dry and baked.
• Operate sandblasting and tumble‑blast equipment to remove scale and contaminants.
• Mix, thin, and apply paints, lacquers, and enamels to meet color and performance standards.
• Set up and run spray‑painting equipment, monitor viscosity and coverage.
• Prepare parts including electro‑plating cleaning and surface inspections.
