Lockheed Martin in Dallas, TX is seeking a Manufacturing Painter B for the Manufacturing Coatings Team to apply protective finishes on aerospace components. You will operate paint equipment, prepare surfaces, and ensure high-precision coatings.

This role emphasizes safety, quality, and collaboration within a skilled manufacturing environment. The position supports 1st or 2nd shift per collective bargaining agreement; candidates must be US citizens and able to obtain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience with spray gun operation and protective coatings.
• Ability to mix epoxy, polyurethane, and primers to precise ratios.
• Familiarity with film thickness control in aerospace coatings.
• Experience with surface prep including sanding and solvent wipe.
• Ability to read and follow drawings/schematics for coating applications.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Manufacturing Painter B you will be responsible for applying protective coatings, operating paint equipment, and ensuring precision in finish work.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Apply various protective coatings, primers, paints, inks, and finishes to detail parts and assemblies.
• Operate paint equipment and facilities, following drawings, schematics, and verbal instructions.
• Prepare surfaces, apply masking, and verify accuracy using precision measuring tools.
• Rework parts as required and maintain a clean, orderly work area.
• Document work and communicate any issues to supervisors.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications

High school degree or equivalent.

Must have the ability to work 1st or 2nd shift according to the collective bargaining agreement.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Secret Clearance, which requires US Citizenship.

• Knowledge of Film thickness control (mils matter in aerospace)
• Experience with surface prep (sanding, solvent wipe, water break test)

Pay Information

• $27.05 - $44.85
