Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Fabricator for the MFC team in Orlando, FL. Responsibilities include applying protective coatings, fabricating carbon fiber structures, and operating various processing equipment to produce high-quality parts.

The role requires experience with carbon fiber materials, spray painting, and autoclave operation, plus the ability to work 1st/2nd/3rd shifts or 3x12 weekends under the UAW agreement. U.S. citizenship and secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Experience with carbon fiber prepreg layup and torque tools.
• Ability to operate autoclave and work in clean rooms.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Apply finish protective coatings with spray guns or brushes.
• Operate sandblaster or tumble blast for cleaning parts.
• Fabricate composite structures from carbon fiber.
• Set up and sequence operations on molding machines and controls.
• Monitor adjustments to ensure quality hardware.
• Mix paints and lacquers per specs.
• Operate spray painting equipment and perform touch-ups.
