Lockheed Martin in Dallas, TX is seeking a Manufacturing Painter B for the Manufacturing Coatings Team to apply protective finishes on aerospace components. You will operate paint equipment, prepare surfaces, and ensure high-precision coatings.

This role emphasizes safety, quality, and collaboration within a skilled manufacturing environment. The position supports 1st or 2nd shift per collective bargaining agreement; candidates must be US citizens and able to obtain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience with spray gun operation and protective coatings.
• Ability to mix epoxy, polyurethane, and primers to precise ratios.
• Familiarity with film thickness control in aerospace coatings.
• Experience with surface prep including sanding and solvent wipe.
• Ability to read and follow drawings/schematics for coating applications.

Responsibilities

• Apply protective coatings, primers, paints, inks, and finishes to parts and assemblies.
• Operate paint equipment and facilities per drawings and instructions.
• Prepare surfaces, apply masking, and verify accuracy with precision tools.
• Rework parts as needed and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Document work and communicate issues to supervisors.
