Job summary

Responsibilities

• Operate fabrication machines under supervision after setups to learn operations or relieve the operator.
• Remove burrs, sharp edges and cracks from parts using grinding and sanding equipment.
• Load and unload processing baskets, racks, conveyors, ovens and furnaces; hand drill and wire parts as directed.
• Number, tag and wrap parts; verify conformance to shop orders.
• Perform routine manual tasks and assist skilled or semi-skilled workers as needed.
