Job summary

Element2 Group is seeking an experienced Aerospace Estimator to support quoting activities for precision-machined aerospace components. You will analyze customer requirements, review engineering documentation, and develop accurate cost estimates with complete BOMs and routings.

The role requires strong knowledge of aerospace machining, cost drivers, and ability to manage multiple quotes to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Prior aerospace estimating experience is required.
• Experience quoting precision-machined or hard metal aerospace components.
• Strong ability to read and interpret customer blueprints, specifications, GD&T.
• Understanding of CNC milling, turning, grinding processes.
• Experience creating and maintaining manufacturing routings and BOMs.
• Experience reviewing RFQs, gathering vendor pricing, and preparing quotes.

Responsibilities

• Review customer RFQs, blueprints, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Prepare labor, material, machining, and total cost estimates for precision-machined aerospace components.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing routings and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Analyze machining requirements, processes, and production costs for quotations.
• Obtain pricing and lead times from vendors and suppliers.
• Assemble complete quote packages for internal review and customer submission.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, purchasing, and sales to ensure accurate quoting.
• Manage multiple quotations while meeting customer deadlines.
• Maintain organized estimating records and documentation.
• Follow safety procedures and keep a clean work environment.
