SG&A Quality Forming Inc. in Torrance, CA seeks an Estimator to lead quotes for aerospace sheet metal and machined parts. You will analyze blueprints, specs, and data to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates and support bids.

The role requires 3–5 years estimating experience in aerospace, familiarity with routings and BOMs, and proficiency in MS Office. A 5-axis machining background is a plus. Candidates must collaborate with engineering, purchasing, and production to ensure accurate, timely

Competenze

• 3–5 years estimating experience in aerospace.
• Sheet metal forming and machining experience with 5-axis machines a plus.
• Associates Degree or equivalent required or relevant experience (Engineering and applicable certifications preferred)

Mansioni

• Review RFQ submissions and engineering data for estimates.
• Prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for aerospace parts.
• Develop cost estimates and proposals using routings and Bills of Materials.
• Provide cost breakdowns and complete bid forms for customers or leadership.
• Communicate with customers on quotations and pricing.
• Coordinate with departments to determine capacity and scheduling.
