Job summary

Trusted Aerospace And Engineering Corp is seeking an Aerospace Estimator to serve as the primary contact for RFQ activity and customer quotes. You will analyze blueprints, specifications, and engineering data to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for sheet metal and machined aerospace parts.

The role requires 3–5 years estimating experience in aerospace, experience with 5-axis machining a plus, and an associate degree or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years estimating experience in aerospace
• Sheet metal forming and machining with 5-axis machines a plus
• Associates Degree or equivalent
• Proficiency in MS Office and cost-estimating tools

Responsibilities

• Receive, download and review RFQs and accompanying documents
• Prepare time, cost and labor estimates for sheet metal and machined aerospace parts
• Create and maintain manufacturing cost estimates and proposals using routings and BOMs
• Develop cost-estimating tools using Excel
• Provide cost breakdowns and complete bid forms for customers or leadership
• Analyze variances between estimated and actual costs to improve estimating parameters
