Job summary

Trusted Aerospace And Engineering Corp is seeking an Aerospace Estimator responsible for analyzing blueprints and specifications to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for sheet metal and machined parts. You will develop cost estimates and proposals using routings and BOMs to support production of aerospace components.

You will manage RFQ submissions, evaluate engineering data, and prepare itemized manufacturing requirements, aiming to optimize bids and improve processes with LEAN

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years aerospace estimating experience.
• Experience with sheet metal forming and machining cost estimates is a plus.
• Ability to read drawings, blueprints and production schedules.

Responsibilities

• Receive, download and submit RFQs from customer portals and review documents.
• Evaluate engineering data to assess product ability.
• Review parts lists and drawings to determine manufacturing requirements, including outside processing and tooling.
• Prepare estimates for planning, bids and make/buy analyses.
• Develop cost estimating tools using Excel and cost breakdowns for bids.
