Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, manufacturing, aerospace engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive engineering experience in aerospace manufacturing.
• Minimum 5 years of engineering leadership experience managing technical teams.
• Extensive knowledge of aerospace precision machining, assembly, and processes.
• Experience with major aerospace OEMs and Tier 1 customers such as Lockheed Martin, Pratt & Whitney, GE Aerospace, Rolls-Royce, Safran, and Bell.
• Strong CNC programming experience and GD&T expertise.
• Proficiency with AS9100 quality systems and aerospace regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Manufacturing Engineering, CNC Programming, Process Engineering, and Technical Support teams.
• Develop manufacturing processes for complex aerospace machining and assemblies.
• Provide technical oversight for CNC programming, tooling strategies, fixtures, and process optimization.
• Manage engineering support for production operations to ensure cost-effective methods.
• Review customer drawings and requirements for manufacturability and compliance.
• Lead NPI and transition programs from quotation to production launch.
• Develop project schedules and milestones using Microsoft Project.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams for successful program execution.
• Support estimating and quoting with manufacturing plans, cycle times, labor estimates, tooling, and cost models.
• Interface with customers regarding technical issues, program status, and readiness.
• Drive Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement to improve quality, delivery, and cost.
• Ensure AS9100 compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop engineering personnel; establish KPIs.
